FAQs

WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR MY HEADLIGHT COVERS TO BE DELIVERED?

Short answer: 4-6 MONTHS


Long answer:

There is a 30 day pre-order window. After 30 days, we send the final amount to Airplex for production. Production takes an estimated 4-5 weeks depending on amount ordered. From there, the entire order is sent from Airplex to our hub in New Zealand for packaging before being sent out via New Zealand Post. This process takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks, again depending on amount ordered.

Once they are with the NZ Post, it can take another 1-6 weeks, depending on international departure dates and customs. It is handed to USPS during this process for final delivery.  

So in all, again in the case of headlight covers, please allow up to 4-6 MONTHS total from pre-production to delivered to your door.

If you have a time-sensitive shipment, please email us to ensure there are no delays. Please be aware that items and shipping may be subject to delays without notification.

DL Parts & Design drop-ships orders, while most orders ship directly from our main hub in New Zealand. Special arrangements may need to be made for international orders and oversize packages.

A general guide would be 7-10 business days from the time of purchase, but varies depending on destination. We will contact you with more information and tracking once it is available.

MY ITEM WAS DAMAGED, WHAT DO I DO?

In the event a product arrives damaged, please follow the steps listed below. All damaged items must be reported to the shipping carrier immediately, and you must notify DL Parts & Design within 48 hours of receiving your order. If these steps are not followed, your shipment may be denied a damage claim and a refund.

If you received a shipment that is damaged (visibly or once you open the box), please do the following:

  • IMMEDIATELY CONTACT US
  • Keep the product with its original packaging and box
  • Make a list of the damaged or lost item(s)

DL Parts & Design will contact the shipper once we receive the email info above to schedule a pickup if needed. DO NOT send it back to the return address without written approval from DL Parts & Design. Once the product is received back and inspected, a replacement or credit will be issued.

International orders (Outside the USA) are not automatically processed as we may require additional information from you.

An order that has shipped from our location or a supplier cannot be canceled, as these are classified as returns. Unfortunately, once it has shipped, restocking fees will apply if they are applicable. Special order items and custom-built items will not be able to be returned. For this reason, it is extremely important to check your invoice or order form.

DL Parts & Design does not refund shipping charges or associated fees.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

Imported goods are non-cancellable and non-returnable. In stock items can be cancelled. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before ordering.
